Thomas A. SERVIES, 78 , of New Market, died Wednesday afternoon   at Culver Hospital where he had been a patient two days of a   heart ailment. There survive the widow, two sons, Rayman of New   Market and Lawrence of Waveland, two daughters, Mrs. Raymond   Middleton of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Flair Burnight of Chicago.   The funeral will be held at 2:00 o'clock Saturday at the home in   New Market.

NEW MARKET—Thomas A. Servies, 78, proprietor of the Servies Greenhouse at New Market several years, died at 1:25 p. m. Wednesday at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville. He had been ill two days with a heart ailment. Born Dec. 2, 1875 in Boone County, Mr. Servies was the son of John T. and Elizabeth Servies. He married Grace M. Demoret Oct. 23, 1901. He was the last of a family of five children. Surviving are the widow, two sons, Raymond Servies of New Market, and Lawrence Servies of Waveland; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond Middleton of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Blair Burnight of Chicago; four grandsons, and one granddaughter. He was preceded in death by a son, Lloyd T. Servies. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday at the family home in New Market, with burial at Crawfordsville Masonic Cemetery. Rev. John R. Servies will be the officiating minister. Friends may call at the family home after noon Thursday. -- kbz
